The Michael Jackson Memorial Service has been scheduled on Tuesday, July 7, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at STAPLES Center in Los Angeles, California. A simulcast at Nokia Theatre L.A. LIVE across the street has also been planned. 11,000 tickets are for the live attendance and 6500 for the simulcast at Nokia theatre. The staples center is also offering a limited numbers of tickets for the memorial service free. The tickets will not be issued on a first come first service but rather by a draw of lots. Each registrant thus selected will be entitled to two free tickets. The registration begins at 10:00 a.m. Pacific Time on Friday, July 3, 2009 and ends at 6:00 p.m. Pacific Time on Saturday, July 4, 2009.
